Perseverance

Well, my mom sent me a few pics of boards from her church, so I'm going to post those now. (Thanks, Mom, for all the new ideas!) First of all is basic, yet a good idea for a quick and easy board. She found a motivational poster at a local store and added a Bible verse to it.

Do It Heartily

One our church ladies put together this bright Valentine Board for her Sunday School Classroom. I think it's pretty much self descriptive with a wrapping paper background, ribbon border, doiles and printed Bible verse.

Five Star Christian

Here's a cute board made by one of our Sunday School teachers. She simply used a black plastic tablecloth and covered it with bright, cheerful stars from our local educations store.

White as Snow

Here's another Elizabeth K. design. This one has been up at church in our main foyer since the beginning of the year. (Sorry for the delay in posting.) The wrapping paper used here for the background is a little too shiny therefore, Elizabeth worked to "calm" it down by adding the white and purple paper to it. I think she did a great job at it and it has been a nice wintry board.

He Gave Himself

This board was desined by one of our Sunday School teachers. I think it is so pretty and thoughful! Personally I love blue with snowflakes and sparkles...makes for beautiful decorating. I'm pretty sure she got almost all her stuff at the Dollar Tree. Wrapping paper makes terrific Christmas and winter backgrounds! And to all the BBB readers...a very Merry Christmas to you!

From Our House to Yours (Christmas Cards)

It's that time of year again! I love this board because we put it to work! It is plainly decorated for Christmas and then everyone will bring in cards throughout the month to post for the entire church family. This saves on time and money making out cards to each church family as well as giving us a nice bulletin board for all to read in the foyer. Thanks again to Elizabeth K. for her hard work on this...she designed on a budget for Dollar General.

Fall Harvest

Here is a board by Elizabeth K. at our church. She's so creative...I love what she comes up with. I had actually purchased the leaves, ribbon border and 2 large felt pumpkins at the Dollar Tree awhile back. I gave that to her and she arranged and added her own stuff...I love the scrapbooking effect. Thanks Liz for another great board at church...I think next month I'll have you post your own so you can describe it better than I can!

I Am the Vine

A friend of mine told me if I gave her verses she would put a board up with them. So, John 15:1-8 is what I gave her and this is what she came up with! I love it; thanks Elizabeth K.! She used purple wrapping paper for the background, brown (mailing paper?) for the "vine" part and artificial grapes (though my son was sure they were real and pulled a couple off to try before he realized they were fake). : ) I don't normally show this entired board because it's so long and we used one side for announcements. However, I decided to show it all this time since she did a great job making it all blend.

Attendance Chart Fall

Well, I guess it's that time of the year...to break out the Fall decorations. As much as I don't want summer to come to an end, I do like Fall decorations! : ) This bulletin board is simply for my own "file". Nothing exciting, just my Sunday School Class Attendance Charts. I think I need to add something to this yet, seems kind of boring. My kids are too young to read though, so we'll see if I come up with something yet! : )
